 March 17, 2012 - February 15, 2025 Rocky crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, to be with his buddies Rusty and Shiner. His personality was larger than life, but Rocky was also a very sweet and gentle boy. He often came over quietly to nudge our hands for some extra attention. He was so gentle with puppies and our cats. Rocky was our rocket, he loved the retrieving game. Countless times he amazed us, doing a test that many dogs could not. He ran so straight through obstacles and factors, both on marks and blinds. Rocky had a long and fruitful career, competing until well over the age of 10 years. Then he enjoyed retirement and full time house life. His accomplishments included - 88.5 All-Age points (22.5 US/66 Canada) 7 All-Age wins Consecutive 3-time winner of the Benn Memorial trophy at Wild Rose Retriever Club for high point amateur-handled dog #1 All-Age and #1 Open dog in Canada in 2021 Finalist 2016 Canadian National 26 US Derby points 2014 California High Point Derby Dog |
