 August 22, 1993 - May 3, 2006 Petey was born August 11, 1993, a son of FC AFC FTCH AFTCH Jazztime. He inherited his father's ability to mark and run straight lines. Petey had success in Junior, becoming #4 dog in Canada in 1995. He also earned Derby points in the U.S. The following year, he was #2 Qualifying dog in Canada. Petey was a very consistent finisher in all-age stakes and won three Opens in 1999 to become #4 Open dog in Canada and top All-Age dog in Alberta. He qualified for eleven Nationals. In 2001, Petey was a finalist at the Canadian National Amateur Retriever Championship and capped the year off being again the Top All-Age dog in Alberta. Petey was always the gentleman and passed peacefully on May 3, 2006. |
