 October 3, 1998 - July 3, 2010 Fly was out of our first litter. As a youngster, she was very precocious. At just under eleven months, she placed in a Junior stake. The following year, she was successful in Junior, Qualifying and Open, all under the age of two. Fly accumulated 25.5 Junior points in 2000, becoming #5 Junior dog in Canada. In the same year, she ran four Qualifying stakes, became qualified all-age in her first Qualifying at 20 months and #8 Qualifying dog in Canada. Then at 22 months, she ran her first Open stake and WON! This qualified her for the 2000 Canadian National (where she was the youngest dog running) and the 2001 Canadian National Amateur (at which she was a finalist at 2 years of age). Over the course of her career, Fly qualified for 15 Nationals. She was a finalist in three Nationals. By the end of her career, Fly reached the milestone of 100 All-Age career points. Fly was our sweet girl, she gave it her all in both training and trials. She was a wonderful friend to both human and animal. |
